Use yahoo autos and get vehicle info
Looking at yahoo autos for a used car is good place to find information and vehicles for sale, but you will still find they point to
Kelly Blue Book
for price valuation. They give you a composite list of vehicles for sale from many places in one area which is nice to not have to go to 10 different websites to look for a car.The down side is that the list is limited to the area you give it, so by default if the you want is for sale on the opposite coast it will not show you unless you expand the range. This does beat the good old days of running down to the news stand and getting the trader paper or the auto trader magazine usually outside of the pizza shops. If you want to find a deal I think
ebaymotors
or craigslist are the best places to find private sellers or dealers who have been re-listing the same car over and over and over. You can usually have a better chance to negotiate the price in your favor. Keep in mind that our goal is to find a used premium car at a discount, so some of the places you would look at just may not have the kind of deals you are looking for. If you did not read about the over all goal here is a brief example. You are looking for a used $40,000 car selling for $2,500 - $5,000, not a cheap $2,500 car. There is a difference!
